Cross Lutheran Church - TX - 78130 is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday services!

Worship Times

A typical service will last about 90 minutes. We sing a good mix of contemporary and traditional music that is led by our worship team. There is childcare available and activities for all age groups. Plan to hang around after the service for fellowship and meeting new people.

What Happens on Sunday?

Parking

Our main parking lot is at the corner of Common Street and Hanz. We have Guest Parking spaces saved for you right up front!

Arrival Time

Many people arrive about 10 minutes before worship begins. This is a great time to settle in, meet new people, or pray.

Children

We love seeing your kids grow in their faith while they participate in worship. Each Sunday, one of our pastors shares a brief message just for them during the worship service too!

What to Wear

You'll be welcome here no matter what you wear. Many like to put on their Sunday best, and lots of people wear more casual clothes too.

Worship Style

We participate in "traditional" Lutheran worship, and love the way this helps us keep Jesus at the center of our life together. In the liturgy of the Divine Service, our God blesses us through His Word and His sacramental gifts.

Communion

We celebrate the Lord's Supper each Sunday. If you have questions about communing with us, our Pastors would be happy to talk with you!

Safety Team

Our highly-trained Safety Team works discreetly and vigilantly, always watching for any situation that might pose a danger to those who are gathered for worship.
